Born in Neath, in South Wales, in 1914, Harry Parr Davies was to become a Prolific composer and  accompanist. By  the time he was 13 he had already composed many
Songs and two operettas.

His work was performed by a multitude Of household names, amongst them were Richard Tauber, Flannagan and
Allen,  George Formby, Evelyn Laye, Tommy Trinder, Arthur Askey and his Close friend Dame Gracie Fields who
He accompanied for many years.
